Dr. Amanda Lee, Director of Aspirio Piano Academy, brings over two decades of distinguished experience as a performer and educator. A pianist with international accolades, she has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and West Virginia University Symphony Orchestra, and was the winner of the Piano Texas International Academy and Festival Teachers Concerto Competition. In addition to serving as Artistic Director of the Waxahachie Symphony Association, Amanda has presented masterclasses and pedagogy workshops across the U.S. and Asia. She is a long-time member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) for over 25 years and continues to serve as a clinician and adjudicator for festivals and competitions.
She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from West Virginia University and advanced diplomas from top institutions in the U.K. and Malaysia. She is Chair of the Music Department and Professor of Piano at Nelson University. Her leadership includes chairing the Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA) Collegiate Conferences and coordinating TMTA Student Affiliate Conference Student Activities. With a deep commitment to musical excellence and education, Dr. Lee fosters an inspiring and nurturing environment at Aspirio Piano Academy for students of all levels.
