
Dr. Amanda Lee, Director of Aspirio Piano Academy, brings over two decades of distinguished experience as a performer and educator. A dedicated pianist, she has performed as a soloist with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the West Virginia University Symphony Orchestra, the West Virginia University Wind Ensemble, the SAGU Concert Band, and the Waxahachie Area Band. She was also the winner of the Piano Texas International Academy and Festival Teachers Concerto Competition.
In addition to serving as Artistic Director of the Waxahachie Symphony Association, Dr. Lee Hing remains active in professional leadership, including service as TMTA (Texas Music Teachers Association) Conference Student Activities Coordinator and TMTA Collegiate Chapters Chair. She has presented at MTNA National Conferences and TMTA State Conventions and has conducted masterclasses and pedagogy workshops throughout the United States and Asia. She has been a member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) for over 25 years and continues to serve as a clinician and adjudicator for festivals and competitions.
She currently serves as Professor of Piano at Nelson University and has recently been awarded the 2026 Distinguished Faculty Award. With a deep commitment to musical excellence and education, Dr. Lee fosters an inspiring and nurturing environment at Aspirio Piano Academy for students of all levels.
